Too much risk involved with doing this. The only way I see this working out for Pittsburgh is if they have a preordained trade on the table, of which Bell will have to agree on. But everyone & their dog knows that Pittsburgh doesn't do business this way because of the risk involved.
This move just wreaks of spite. Just let the asshole walk and take the comp pick. How stupid will the Steelers look if they matched an offer? Basically forcing themselves to pony up the dough that they refused to pay this man the last 2 years. Even with the intent to trade...
