I can certainly understand the disappointment and even heartbreak that McDavid is feeling, but I have to think that Bettman is none too pleased that he refused to make an appearance to accept the Conn Smythe trophy.

A situation easily avoided by giving it to Bob, seeing as how it's supposed to be the whole playoffs.

That is fucking pathetic, and shows immense recency bias by everyone voting. Bob was stunning the whole playoffs. Yes, Barkov and McDavid had great playoffs, but Bob was consistently stellar. Even when he wasn't making the save of the century. The wheels fell of the wagon in game 4, he still stumbled a bit the next game and then returned to form. Only one first place vote and two other votes at all is a crime.

Every one of them should be embarrassed.

Especially the donkey that put Skinner. Stuart had success, but he's Binnington 2.0. IF he's lucky.
