Stafford's Turnovers Way Down

Clausen completely outplaying Stafford today. Oh, Ross should be benched for the rest of the season.

Some of you guys talk a lot of smack and act very sure of a lot of things, while simultaneously trashing those of us who don't share your opinions. Funny thing is that when you put those statements in print they don't go away and can end up proving you very wrong once the season unfolds...

That is very disrespectful to put Stafford and Rodgers in the same sentence. There has been like three or four games where Rodgers has sat out 4th quarters because they were simply blowing teams out.

Stafford is more in the Flacco,Eli,Cutler category than the Rodgers,Luck,Manning or Brady category.

Agree, putting Stafford up with Rodgers is laughable.

The funny thing is he has went over 4,000 yards this season.

I would not have guessed Stafford would have that many yards. He has became a game manager and not so much gunslinger. Although some of the throws today were really remarkable and in heavy rush.

The Lions have been way beyond my expectations this season and IMO Lion fans need to bitch! If it isn't about Stafford's lack of production it's about a porous offensive line.

The Lions have a chance for 12 freaking wins....just outstanding!

I wish his interceptionless streak was still going. 18 and 10 was a lot better fuel for arguments than 18-12 is. (Although Im sure that wont stop anything.)

Especially with that other dropped pick. Not an Alex Smith-esque performance today. More of a vintage Matt Stafford performance.

Sarcasm aside, I will keep takin the W's with subpar performances. Thankfully the defense kept a inept offense in many games to give Staff & Co. a chance for redemption.

Just at some point, realize that it will cost them. Cost them dearly. Hopefully not next week. Those misques will be capitalized upon more often than not against winning teams.

To be honest, Stafford hasn't changed much. He's still inconsistent, and he still misses more 'easy' throws than he should.

The turnovers are down, but so are his big plays. IMO he's still not a top 10 qb. Those big name guys, who at a point in their career, cut down on turnovers, really didn't fall off in other areas of production.

I'm sure I'm just "Stafford hating", right? I'm just being honest. If we win this way consistently I'm fine with it. But let's please not act like he's setting the world on fire.

Agreed, The Lions did beat the Packers earlier this year, But I'm not holding my breathe next week......If we win the Divison and get a Bye....That's huge, but I don't see it at Lambeau and the way we have been winning....

Got a hunch we will be a Wild Card team, Root for the Lions bet on the Packers.

The running theme is that Stafford IS NOT leading the team to victories. If this defense was nothing short of a top 3 unit, Lions would be lucky to be .500.

In his 6th season, We all expect more or at least improvement. Still looks like the same QB who will have some wow throws mixed in with head scratchers and inaccurate completions where the receivers always need to make major adjustments on the ball.

It might be chuckleable. But I can't see how anyone could have Luck lower than 9th, 10th if you're a hater.

I could see him being as high as #6 without any bias involved.
