Spurs come back to Oracle for the 1st time since the '12-'13 Playoffs.

Hope DUB Nation shows up tonight and rocks the place.

DUbs aren't exactly 100%, but Parker is coming off an injury last night vs Flop City, and is a game time decision? Hoping Dubs feed off the crowd and pull this one through, 100-86?

I'm going to the game tonight for my Bday so we better bring the house down with a win.
It should be crazy loud and I think with Iggy back we should pull this out....

Looks like Pop is giving all the vets a day off today. During a nationally televised game, no less.

Keys will be:

1) Perimeter defense. If Parker, Ginobili and Duncan are out tonight, it means a lot more time for the ancillary players. I suspect there will be a lot more 3 point attempts than normal from the Spurs with the likes of Bellineli, Green, Mills, and Bonner all getting more time. Closeouts tonight will be essential.

2) Interior scoring. Lee, Bogut and Speights will all need to feast in the paint. Splitter is their only legit big man to defend and we need to exploit mismatches in the paint. I'd also like to see Draymond Green get some post opportunities this game as well. He's a terrific passer out of the post and it's highly under utilized on this team. If we're going to start iso'ing players, Green is the best player to do this in the post on the team. Seriously.

3) Turnovers. These aren't the old Spurs, they're the new version lead by a faster pace. We can't let these guys get out in transition against us. That all starts by making sure we control the ball. Turnovers not only lead to more opportunities but transition baskets and more drive and kick 3 point attempts.

With the Spurs top 3 all out, this becomes a trap game. Hopefully they bury these guys early, and bury them deep. Can't afford another disastrous 4th quarter letdown against this team.

Coaches like Popovich do stuff like this once in awhile in order to get their bench valuable playing time against superior talent. So when the playoffs come around even the last man on the bench has some confidence in themselves. It is quite the ploy indeed.

Exactly. The guy who scares the crap out of me this game (for the Spurs) is Diaw. We've never known how to defend him, and I suspect they're going to run the offense through him a great deal today.

Belinelli also makes me nervous. Both of those guys are really smart, if not athletically gifted, and that's the type of player that kills us.

Yeah, the Spurs are still a surprisingly good team without their top guys and those guys will be motivated to prove something tonight. Warriors had better keep their guard up. Talent-wise, we should be superior, but there is little doubt that even the Spurs second-tier guys will play smarter, more disciplined, more urgent basketball than most of the Warriors will, that's what I'm worried about.

Chuck if your so worried about Lee on Diaw, why not just switch Bogut on him?

So Money, the Warriors got the "Wake up call." No worries, the Warriors are going to teach them a lesson.

New stat of the night, courtesy of the men in the studio.

Andrew Bogut is shooting 75% in the restricted area recently.

(opinions) Is the NBA going way to far with stats?

A little "showtime" early, Steph to Andre! Sharks game still 0-0.
