The Giants got back-to-back home runs from Jung Hoo Lee and Matt Chapman in the top of the 3rd inning. Lee has eight hits in 19 at-bats so far this spring.
Good teams need AT LEAST 4 good OFers, and I can see McCray maybe elevating himself into one of those spots this year. And worst case, he can be a defensive replacement/pinch-runner. I love defensive wizards.McCray leads off the 7th with a single then...
steals second...
and steals third.

Agreed, especially defensive wizards that can also steal bases and score from second on a single.Good teams need AT LEAST 4 good OFers, and I can see McCray maybe elevating himself into one of those spots this year. Please do yourself a favor and don’t take spring training results to heartrunner on third, less than two outs...
Schmitt doubles.
Maybe things are different this year?
Scoring from 2nd on a single?Agreed.

Scoring from 2nd on a single?
Is that even legal?
For sure, but it's nice to have some optimism. It'd certainly be a downer to see day after day of 0'fers and LOBes this springPlease do yourself a favor and don’t take spring training results to heart
Exactly right, it's better if they look good in meaningless games vs looking bad in themFor sure, but it's nice to have some optimism. It'd certainly be a downer to see day after day of 0'fers and LOBes this spring
We do need to pump the brakes on Aldridge, he went like 2 for 12 with 8 Ks before they just sent him back down. He's only 20, Ryan Howard (a good comp) didn't make the bigs until he was 25, same as Aaron Judge. Big guys need time to learn to cover all that space. For sure, but it's nice to have some optimism.
