Sportshoopla Poll Preseason Top 25 Discussion Thread

Haven’t done my rankings and haven’t look too much at them let.

But in general, why should I rank someone higher because of future schedule or how I think a team will finish later in the season

Well clearly lots of people do that. If you don't that's cool.

It also is just another reason preseason rankings are stupid . There's no criteria on how to rank teams before any games are played . So done people rank based off past years while others rank teams based off how good they think they'll be this year

It's odd no one is as high on Minnesota as I am. 17 returning starters from a 7 win team that ended the year blowing out 3 solid teams . Gophers have a pretty easy schedule too. I think they'll likely be favored in 9 of their games ( maybe 10 )

The same team that got blown out 53-28 by (4-8) Nebraska in week 7 and blown out 55-31 by (4-8) Illinois in week 9?

I don't know how good Texas will be this year, but Holy Shit, we got some dudes this year. Lot of young ones, but OL will be a very good two deep in two years, WR is LOADED, and there may not be a better DB room in the country, top to bottom.

I just don't know, lot of young ones, but I doubt Tx fans have seen a team like this since 2008-9 for sure. But even many more dynamic athletes than that team though. Holy shit, I just hope they can get it all together asap

I screwed my poll up. Meant to have Oklahoma right after Ohio State.

Don't want those land thieves on my ass for leaving them out.

Even now, since I'm a Texas guy, that OSU base will probably hammer me with the "Tittie bar Tom" and "Zach's a good guy, Tom's a snitch" mantra just because I mentioned them
