I'm noticing a trend here I don't see anywhere else: Weekly regular season fawning over Peyton Manning. It's well deserved, no doubt. But why all the shock and awe?

Did the ESPN abortion flood this board with first time football fans ages 12-18 who are only now hearing of the man, never actually seeing him play?

SPOILER ALERT: Between the months of September and December, Peyton Manning is a fucking stud. A regular season assassin. He wins 12-14 games every year while barley breaking a sweat. He breaks records like George Zimmerman saves lives -- with fearless authority.

So why anyone is so surprised is beyond me.

The Broncos season starts week 2 of the playoffs, in Denver. Until then, this is nothing new.

I dunno man... I like many others predicted Peyton Manning to bend over and shoot invisible lightning out his butt during the 3rd week of the season and low and behold a little late, but if you rewind at the 7 minute mark of today's game he clearly zaps Cole. Better late than never, but Peyton Manning should definitely win SuperBowl 14. And did anyone see the shot on Thurman today? Jesus. I literally thought Lane was going to tear his head off. Madden was totally shocked. It's clear that Brady is the best in the league though, or Jordan, hard to tell.

Yep. Every year Peyton is hyped up because he puts up great stats against bad teams and every year he will fail to do anything in the postseason. Its nothing new. I like how last year everyone was so surprised the Broncos lost against the Ravens. All the blame goes to Rahim Moore but none go to Peyton making that horrible throw across his body for the game losing INT. Face it he will disappear in the postseason again. I will admit he is the greatest regular season QB ever. Overall? Not even close.

I think people read too much into his injury and leaving the Colts. They wrote him off.

Obviously they are wrong and looking dumber each and every week. They have no options other than stroking him off.

You act like Peyton is the only one to blame for that loss. That was a complete team failure. A defense who had given up one 20+ yard TD all season miraculously gives up 2 of them(One of which was in the closing minute, while we had the lead, which Peyton gave to us with a lead-changing drive) You also act like he doesn't already have an SB trophy

It's Peyton's fault the Broncos gave up a 70 yard bomb with 30 seconds left to a team with no timeouts.

You are jealous because your QB does not have a little brother with more SB wins than Peyton and on a 0-4 team at that!

Don't think Colts were wrong. They had to start too rebuild and they did what they had too do. Get a QB that will give them solid QB play for 10-12 more years, and cap and cash too get back to the upper half after only one year. Denver is built for now and look great. Colts are trying to set up until 2025.

Doesn't the 5 head also lead the NFL all time in one and dones in the playoffs? And the donkeys have started off playing three of their first 4 games at home against teams that have a total of 4 wins combined. They aren't likely to face a decent team until week 7 when they go to Indy and the colts D isn't anything special.

Love how people say that but ignore the fact that the Ravens defense didn't give up a touchdown for another 2 games after playing the Broncos. The Broncos play the teams on their schedule and well so far they have not only just won but dominated every team they have played. And it is not like this year is the only time they have done this. They have won 15 straight regular season games some of those on the road against playoff teams and in those 15 straight games the closest game has been 8 points.

It's his fault that he threw an interception that handed the ravens the game.

No game turns on only one play, but if you look at the losses Peyton almost always plays a role.

Peyton is having an amazing season so far, but here is the real spoiler: he is only 1 good hit from being a paraplegic. So if I was a Peyton or a Denver fan, I'd be real nervous every time he takes the field.

I thought we were done with this crap argument. This was said every week last year and he would take hits and just kept popping back up every time. Honestly you saying this just shows you have no clue about his neck injury what so ever. Do some research then come back trying to say the same thing. And honestly any team this could be the case with their quarterback taking blindside hits. Peyton has talked in the past that as a quarterback it is just as important to know how to take a hit as anything for a quarterback to stay healthy. He is the master at knowing how to take a hit without getting hurt. There is a reason he lasted as long as he did in this league before his injury which is actually not even football related without any serious injury.

I see that when I explained the reason for your behavior (putting down Brady to prop up Maning for ten + years) to you, it really hit home. Get your own material.
