I didn't see that Rubby De La Rosa got called up the other day. Then I saw that he pitched last night. One inning, no walks, two K's. Nice to start him off in a low-leverage situation in his season debut.
The kid pitched well as a starter for the Dodgers back in 2011 before getting hurt, so hopefully the big stage won't faze him this time around.
I think he could be HUGE for us down the stretch if he could supplant Tazawa as the primary set up man. With the shape of our closer situation, he could even emerge as our closer next season, so this could also an audition for 2014 for him.
