For his 7th catch of the season and last of his career. Now he gets to throw it up to OBJ who catches anything within 15 yards of him.

Is that better or worse than 5 yard curl patterns to Edelman that turn into 77 yard Tds?

Be careful, we are being told that Russell Wilson throwing to his #6 WR from the one yard line on the biggest throw of his life, was a "low risk pass"
#6 really?we've already had this talk about you tonning down your hyperbole. I don't want to have this talk again.

You gotta love the yearly Eli and the HOF threads. Ahh, the memories it brings back. Things like "Eli is greater than Peyton because he is 2-0 in SB's and not 1-1" (no longer the case but was a common theme back a few years) and "Eli is greater than TB because he won the head to head in SB's".
At any rate, back on topic, Eli will get into the HOF because the media will vote him in. Enough said. I don't really care about HOF's any more.

I assume this debate will be wrapped up with everyone agreeing by page 72.

Yes because OBJ and VC haven't been doing that regularly?
How about that block by Floyd to free up Edelman?
I'm still surprised that if these 5 yard passes are so easy why isn't everybody doing it:scratch:
It would certainly increase Eli-zabeths chances of making the HOF.

He does have a strong arm and I believe either 1# or #2 this year with passes over 20 yards but when you have short slot receivers most of the time, tough to throw deep and not have a taller back pick it off or tip it. Now with Hogan and Floyd they have some deeper threats
Shhhhhh stop telling the haters. They're all convinced TB12 is a 5 yd passer and can't throw the deep ball.

Yeah, do you guys understand the definition of cherry picking?

We were specifically discussing the 2 Super Bowl Runs

I have been told by smart posters here that he had nothing to do with them

So me posting his numbers from those SB runs, is not what is called Cherry Picking
This thread has covered everything from one game to a career and whether or not Eli has HOF #s? So yes it was cherry picking in that instance.

Dont ignore context of a discussion when you "cherry pick" parts of it and paint it with a brush

I know its a Boston pastime

The only first place vote for David Ortiz winning the MVP came from Mike Vaccaro, NY sportswriter
