Exactly how many more times do you need to be told that comparing stats from today's game with players from decades ago just makes you look like an idiot?

Yeah, Im the idiot, a guy with 23000 less passing yards can ONLY be chalked up to different eras

No other reason

Yeah, Im the idiot

I think that's pretty much been proven this morning.

Explain how that is my man

You seem pretty angry with me

Would it have anything to do with your teams season ending yesterday?

You have been lectured repeatedly about how comparing QBs of different eras is stupid, yet there you were doing it again with Eli and Plunkett. I get mad when an idiot wastes my time.

Different eras dont apply to Tom Brady eh?

Sure they do, and his stats will overcome the fact this is a more pass happy era.

He is going to set the Wins total so far out of reach we will both be dead before anyone comes along and breaks it.

We are not talking about total yards. Obviously guys that play more games will have the stats. Brady has set records for most consecutive throws w/o an int and also has 300 now in road games. I prefer a QB that doesn't cough it up. Brees is real good but he has a tendency to force throws. Favre was the same way his whole career

So his stats will overcome the more pass happy era

But Eli Manning (or anyone) having 23000 more passing yards and 150 more passing TD's doesnt "Overcome" the more pass happy era?

LMAO

You guys are great

What this indicates is the league has turned into a passing league since some of the legends of the game aren't even on here. Especially, since Joe Montana isn't even on here and he's arguably the best ever.

If your take from all this is I believe the QBs from years past are equal or better than all the QBs of this era I think we have identified who the retard is.

Later.
