Sports games and racing games should look noticeably better right away since the makers of those games have been mailing in uninspired sequels for the current gen for quite awhile. I'm guessing it will take awhile for everything else to catch up because they will have an emphasis on scope, story and gameplay mechanics.

Agreed, they will launch a few games that look cool and take advantage of the system... but most of the early games suck balls... and it takes 9 months to get a good wave of games made specifically for the console that ARE ACTUALLY GOOD...

Yes but if you bought an early ps3 with 4 USB plugs you would have backwards compatibility and its still worth as much as the day you got it new

Since that means you can't sell used games, or use a game among multiple consoles without signing in on each of them, it's going to get them crucified worse than the connectivity requirement.

You would still have to log in to that system and then install the game. What happens if servers go down? What happens if your friends don't have the internet at that moment for some reason. What if they have a shitty internet speed?

Same for me. I'll play NCAA 14 and MADDEN 25 on my Xbox then figure out next year.
