Reports out of Dove Valley today that Trevor Siemian has a sprained foot that he suffered during the overtime portion of last Sunday's game. Siemian is reportedly not practicing today. Now there is no further information yet as to the severity of the sprain and it could be very mild. After all, today is only Wednesday.
However if it turns out to be worse than that, this could be a huge developing story. Siemian is obviously most effective when he can scramble and use his mobility to make plays. The Jags game is an absolute must win and I'm sure that the Broncos want Siemian under center on Sunday but they also can't risk losing him for more games, as they've all become critical at this point.
Of course, better to insert Paxton Lynch for one game than be forced to play him a bunch if the injury worsens. Again, this might be nothing at all to worry about but I'll be paying close attention to the updates today and tomorrow.
