:thumb: a healthy Griffin will only improve our offense. Now let's hope the Oline shows improvement as well.

saying he is healthy doesnt mean he doesnt have a long laundry list of things to prove on the field from mastering his mechanics in games to mastering the offense , to reading the defense

Who's hyping? Health is an obvious improvement over last year:noidea:

It's just a statement however, with all the negativity placed on him last year (some rightfully so), I think RG3 entering this season as quiet as possible can only be good for him and the team. He has had a lot to work on as Dad suggest, not to mention coming back from injury, learning a new offense, working with a few new olinemen and a few new WR's and improving his overall game. I would hope he remains almost invisible until the season starts.

Keim: Griffin receives a lot of credit for how hard he works; part of that includes studying film. I know he watches a lot of film, but the bottom line is right now the area that people want to see him improve involves pre-snap reads, getting off primary reads faster. Once he starts doing that, you'll hear more about the other habits that go into that improvement, like film study. To be honest, not sure I've read a lot or heard a lot about other young quarterbacks and how much film they watch. If you're a starting quarterback in the NFL it's assumed that you watch a lot of film. Griffin is no different. Really, it's not about watching film as much as it is processing what you're seeing. It takes a couple years for any young quarterback (or player for that matter) to reach a comfort level in this area. Many, many times I've talked to players about watching film and they consistently say it took them a while to do it well.

this came from kiem's mailbag . some one complained that he was working out and not doing film study . not sure whom but here is my answer to it . your expectations for it were foolish . study film all you want but if you cant process it and then apply it to the training field it isnt going to help .

so being injured affected that and we should see some improvement in it . but expect that his experience in that dept will be like it was as a rookie going into year 2 and not year 2 going into 3 . it was a lost year from that standpoint
