it would probably take at minimum #51 to get Kirk
I wouldn’t do that.

Wow. I hadn't heard that. I guess one would call that a red flagJohnson had four shoulder surgeries in 4 years. No thanks.
Minimum 51? Count me out for sure then, but I would be very surprised if a 3rd wouldn't get him. Personally I'd give up a 4th at most for him and maybe a 5th. Otherwise I'm grabbing a guy I like in the draft and getting 4 cheap years out of him.it would probably take at minimum #51 to get Kirk
is cheap all that's important? i would like to see a WR group built around Cooper, Gallup and Kirk receiving tosses from Dak. i don't see anyone in the draft that's going to step in this year or next and filling the slot receiver void. i would start the offer with the 3rd but i would be flexibleMinimum 51? Of course not. But, Is overpaying for a guy smart or does it make him better? Maybe it's just me, but I don't think Kirk is all that good. Contrary to what you say I think there are half a dozen guys in this draft better than Kirk and I'm not overly worried about filling the traditional "slot role". Give me the best WR and I'll make it work. Cooper could drop down into the slot on 3rd downs without a problemis cheap all that's important? i would like to see a WR group built around Cooper, Gallup and Kirk receiving tosses from Dak. i don't see anyone in the draft that's going to step in this year or next and filling the slot receiver void. i would start the offer with the 3rd but i would be flexible
Like James Proche, maybe even K J HillI would not give a 2nd for Kirk. There are gonna be WR' s with talent available through round 5 of this draft
Those two, Gabriel Davis, Lynn Bowden...these are guys projected to go in the 4th or 5th round. Super deep WR draft. Interesting you mentioned Proche, I think that kid could be an awesome slot receiver hereLike James Proche, maybe even K J Hill
I became a big fan after watching several SMU games last year. This guy gets open and catches the football with the best of um. Love Reagor outta TCU but don't want Dallas to draft WR till the 4th at the earliest. Those two, Gabriel Davis, Lynn Bowden...these are guys projected to go in the 4th or 5th round. You mention super deep for wideouts. I hope the cowboys address the secondary with at least one high pick like a 1st or 2nd. Cowboys got to get better at CB and safety so they can cover all these receivers that are coming. While Haha dix is an upgrade over Heath that dont mean he is the answer to the problems cowboys need to sign a veteran corner. There is no quality depthThose two, Gabriel Davis, Lynn Bowden...these are guys projected to go in the 4th or 5th round. Super deep WR draft. I'm not on board with that. Pollard is a great complement to Zeke. I want a fresh Pollard during the games, not one tired from running routes, then pulling double duty at RB. Give me a speedy receiver with nice hands that can play slot and out wide as needed. Like most have mentioned, this is a draft class you don't neglect a hole at WR.Our slot receiver could be Pollard. Letting a talent like Pollard rot away on the bench is stupid. Just put him in the slot and use the draft pick on defense.
That's odd unless there is more to the story. Is he due a roster bonus or something? I mean I don't exactly expect him to battle for snaps, but why cut him now instead of 4 months from now or at least when we have to reduce the roster to 90 after bringing guys UDFAs inAccording to Rappaport, we have cut Lance Lenoir.

I somewhat understand this but the problem becomes if Elliott gets hurt and misses games. Screws the entire offenseOur slot receiver could be Pollard. Letting a talent like Pollard rot away on the bench is stupid. Just put him in the slot and use the draft pick on defense.
