kidding?
give it another week or two. We all know how this will end.
Everyone on here is hoping the Cowboys go to the Super Bowl. I would love to say I was a fool for wanting DQ as the head guy if it ever comes down to a choice of him leaving as Payton did when Parcells was the coach. Tooting the horn after beating a 1 win team? Okay...

so,
you see this as me tooting my horn?

Now this is selective reading at it's finest.

I'm not sure I would attribute much of yesterday's win to the HC or should I say to his work on game day. There was a clear difference in talent on the field. Any team can beat any team of course when they are all Professionals and coaching is a 365 day per year job and it isn't just game day. It’s practice and the offseason as well. But, I for one have always said McCarthy is certainly a good HC on all those other days. His players like him and I think they want to play for him and I think he is great in the locker room. He doesn’t seem detail oriented or to be a guy who pays attention to “the little things”, but he delegates so that makes up for that somewhat I guess. It's on game day he seems to struggle to me and often with the simple things and where he seems to be outclassed by some of the elite coaches. you hear the term with guys like Shanahan “playing chess while he’s playing checkers” and I think there’s some accuracy to it. The NFL is now a thinking man’s league with how it’s moved towards passing and speed. You can still win with an old school style like McCarthy but I think it’s harder.

McCarthy, like other coaches of teams with aspirations of playoff advancement, will be judged on how his teams do in the playoffs and whether he can get this team with as much or perhaps I should say almost as much talent as any in the NFC (because I do think SF and Philly have a little more talent) to at least a championship game. If he doesn’t he will be gone, maybe not this year but before long He will be gone. It just takes one break and we have been close so who knows and it’s not like we don’t have a decent shot to get to a championship game. We just need to push it over the line. The way Dak has been playing lately I’d say we have the advantage at QB with the other 3 top teams in the NFC Or at worst it’s a push And we all know our defense can win some games if we can stop the run and get teams into 2nd and 3rd and long.

Wow. Birds stoled that one. Never thought i would say KC defense is better than their offense.

If anyone noticed he was double and tiple covered all game.

Probably a good move considering the rest of their WRs. I thought Byard played him fairly well straight up. He did drop 2-3 passes and had a huge fumble inside the 10.

My observations from last night's game: horrible INT by Mahomes in end zone. Too many dropped passes by Chiefs . The refs clearly assisted the Eagles several times.

Yes and when he wasn't he had drops and fumbled. I'm not talking about how he was covered or talking about his fantasy numbers, I'm talking about how he did when he had opportunities and it wasn't good.
