Not sure about Smith other than he looks to be the second most important offensive player. I think the decision to not play Smith today had everything to do with playing Thursday. Seems a lot smarter to play Thursday with a week before the next game than to try to play today with another game in 4 days

I tend to agree about Smith. I have had bone spurs in my ankle. I had them surgically removed. No amount of rest or rehab helped my ankle. I had a spur growing on the leg bone and it was rubbing on another spur in the ankle. Those two spurs were cut out and bone fragments cleaned out. They grew for years and were not a problem until started to bang against each other. So if Smith has similar problem this will be a problem for the rest of the season for him

Was benching William's the correct move? I thought it was,but McGovern disappointed. I guess I may have been wrong about him. OL may need to be a priority in the next draft. They may need to draft either a Tackle or Guard in the 1st round.

Last year at this time I mentioned that Parsons would be a perfect replacement for Jaylon. I just did not think the Cowboys would draft him. Then again I thought Surtain would be there at 10.

I wanted Surtain mainly. But damn, this Parsons is just like Von Miller, but way faster. All the tape I watched he just happened to be at MLB. I had no clue he could come off the edge like that. He single handedly kept the Cowboys in the game in KC. DLaw better do something when he comes back,because Gregory and Parsons are better at this stage. Parsons looks like All-Pro

Garrett still running the same stale plays he did in 2007. I figured it was going to happen after the season. At least I was hoping.

I actually didnt. He was on some show before the draft along with the Justin Fields and JC Horn. Hey Rookie or something. I only watched a couple of episodes. He just seemed arrogant during those shows. Again i only saw a couple of episodes. Of course Fields seemed like a Saint. He was vegan i believe. Im so glad i was wrong on my thoughts. I think we have a 10 year All Pro on our team.

Yep, I had Surtain,Horn and Slater as ny preference.. I figured he would be a top 10 pick. It just surprised me because Jerry normally would never take a line backer that high in a draft.

I didn't mean to start a conversation on who we all wanted, I just recalled disagreeing on some particular comments that came off as more anti-Parsons than just wanting someone else more. I had Micah as I think the 3rd best non-QB (behind Chase and Sewell) and best the defensive player, but for us, I was still hoping for Surtain over Parsons because of position (didn't really like Horn) and I thought Surtain would be a week 1 stud and that the two were pretty close talent wise. I Loved Slater too.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think Parsons would immediately be as good as he has been. You can make an argument for him being DPOY or at least that he should be in the discussion. That's just insane for a rookie playing who is asked to play all over the field. I also think if he played Edge FT this year he'd be leading the league in sacks right now. The most important thing is the team liked him enough to take him
