Goodell is a polesmoker
Damn. I did not realize he signed alreadyDoesn't matter, that ship has sailed. Besides Reed wasn't available when Dallas was signing DL.

I feel like Miami at 18 and 36 or Jets at 23 and 34 would be ideal in this scenario to trade back into the top 10.I wouldn't be shocked if someone at the top of the draft likes Mac Jones. If they do there is a real good chance 5 QBs go before we pick.
I think Sewell goes for sure and most think Pitts goes so lets say they go as well. Now let's say a team likes Smith more than Chase and takes him and another team picks a defensive player or an OL. That puts us on the clock with Chase (at least IMO) by far the BPA. Too bad we don't have a few days in between picks to figure out possible trades because trading Cooper in that scenario and freeing up his cap space becomes an absolute no-brainer IMO if you could also get a high pick back or if not, then trading Gallup would work as well. You can't realistically go into the season with Coop, Gallup, Lamb and Chase but it would be tough to pass on a talent like Chase. Ideally some team knows that the Eagles and probably Giants will be drooling for him and thinks as highly of him as I do and offers us a sweet deal for our pick. Either way, my thinking out loud point is that the more QBs that go, the better for us. Not exactly an original thought, but running through the board really illustrates this point.
Maybe if 1 of the 5 QBs is left NE tries to jump up a little to get him?I feel like Miami at 18 and 36 or Jets at 23 and 34 would be ideal in this scenario to trade back into the top 10.
A good deal for sure. He may just end up being a backup which would be fine with me. Obviously a better contract than the ones given Clinton -,Dix and Poe last season.. those were a total waste.. the low amount makes me wonder if he is healed or if he is still rehabbingReally, really love this deal from a team perspective. Admittedly it pretty much reinforces the level of talent he is or that he may not be 100% healthy (not sure which), but who cares it's a bargain for us and if he crashes and burns it comes at almost zero cost. Now I know why there were whispers of signing both he and Hooker after seeing what he signed for. Best of all I think safety is still high on our list in the draft
Still Holland at 44 in my bookA good deal for sure. He may just end up being a backup which would be fine with me. If he falls. I do think they will pick a safety early. Just got that feeling. Quinn values safeties more than most DCs. I want players that produced in college. Enough of the projects like Taco. Enough of drafting players just cause they have measurable. They started Steele at rt cause he has all that length. He sucks as a football player. People claim he got better, but I dont think he got better. Horrible in pass protection and couldn't block anybody in the run game. . They need to make McGovern the swiss army knife of the OL. He is an underrated athlete. He could replace Steele as a swing tackle and do way better. Looney same way. Looney is not good. We witnessed total garbage OL play last season. The only two backups that remotely impressed me were Biadz McGovern, and Cam Erving. The rest suckedStill Holland at 44 in my book
and the way he wants to move Neal to weakside and perhaps talking up KD Wright, I'm sure he's seen enough of our LB'ers to know he better value LB play as well. BOY....Zaven Collins or Azeez Ojulari sure would be nice as wellQuinn values safeties more than most DCs.
I think they need about $5M for the rookie classJayron Kearse officially signed, will count $987500 against the cap. leaving $9012299
Depends on how many of them make the final roster. Could range from 7 to 11+MI think they need about $5M for the rookie class
Parsons is a 4.39?
First off, 4.39 isn't fast. It's lightning fast. He is 6'3" 245 or a little bigger than Jaylon (according to first google return for both so who knows)Parsons is a 4.39?
What is his size?
Speed in a LB is great but if you get flung around or knocked on your ass what's the point?
I know he is rated #1 or two in LBs, but is it because he is that good or because of his speed vs. other College players? Everyone is fast in the NFL.
