Franchez is throwing better than he has all spring and looks like he will begin a rehab assignment this week. With any luck, he'll be back by the end of the month.

Surkamp was examined by an orthopedist yesterday and has been cleared to start throwing. Expect him to make a start for the Grizz by the end of the month.

Vogey is progressing nicely and is on pace to make his first start on Sunday.

All in all, good news. With Freddy back, we can desist with this MarBur charade and get a legit hitter into the lineup:
