The 8th playoff spot may not even be at .500 ... right?
Looks like right now we're 9th...?
It is 2020. Nothing makes sense any more.

We are 1 game behind Philly. But at least now we are alone in 9th place. The other day we were tied with a bunch of teams for 10th...
Still 9th from what I can tell...
How does seeding work this year?
I THINK the div winners get 1-3, then the 2nd placers and WC teams are seeded by record. So as of right know, even though Cin is a 2nd place than, they are the #7 seed...
Do I have that right?

2.5 games back...
wow so close yet so far...
And with the 2nd worst winning percentage in the NL.2.5 games back...
I hope this team doesn't do the same thing that they did last year, go on a winning streak at the worst possible time in the season and then crash back to extreme mediocrity.
At least Pittsburgh is worse than us...
I kinda fear this as well. Especially with the excitement that Bart will likely bring to the clubhouseI hope this team doesn't do the same thing that they did last year, go on a winning streak at the worst possible time in the season and then crash back to extreme mediocrity.
Yeah, top prospect catchers NEVER inject life into a ballclub, especially in SF. I cannot think of one catcher in the past 11 years the Giants have called up that has done yet.I kinda fear this as well. Especially with the excitement that Bart will likely bring to the clubhouse
I am looking back 10 years and it hasn’t happened with the Giants.Yeah, top prospect catchers NEVER inject life into a ballclub, especially in SF. I cannot think of one catcher in the past 11 years the Giants have called up that has done yet.
Does this feel like 2019, circa just before the trade deadline, to anyone else?I kinda fear this as well. Especially with the excitement that Bart will likely bring to the clubhouse
Exactally. I like see the wins, but they are fools gold.Does this feel like 2019, circa just before the trade deadline, to anyone else?
