How does seeding work this year?

I THINK the div winners get 1-3, then the 2nd placers and WC teams are seeded by record. So as of right know, even though Cin is a 2nd place than, they are the #7 seed...

I hope this team doesn't do the same thing that they did last year, go on a winning streak at the worst possible time in the season and then crash back to extreme mediocrity.

Yeah, top prospect catchers NEVER inject life into a ballclub, especially in SF. I cannot think of one catcher in the past 11 years the Giants have called up that has done yet.
