5 carries by SD and NE is not "establishing the run," it is abandoning it, so thanks for agreeing. :yahoo:

I didn't agree, you're reading into what I posted. It's pretty hard to establish a run when the other team has long scoring drives and you keep going 3 and out because that run you're trying to establish isn't going so well.

But by all means, go ahead and believe that the only reason teams can't run on the Broncos is because their they stop trying. In fact, I hope the Seahawks coaches feel the same way; the Broncos have been stout against the run all season and have really struggled against the pass, so I really hope the Seahawks come out attempting to establish that run all game long.

No, I didn't misread anything. Midnight said that Denver's defense is "about as good" as Seattle's. It's not.

Check again.

Denver's defense is about as good as Seattle's offense. It's the truth you don't want to face.

Like I said, I hope your team is just as delusional about Denver as you seem to be.

And in the postseason, lynch has been going for 125 yards against the best run defenses in the league.

The Saints did not have one of the best run defenses in the league, they were 19th in yards per game and 27th in yards per attempt.

As for the 49ers, Denver averaged exactly the same yards per carry against as San Francisco (3.9).

You are comparing Manning to Wilson and Lynch to Moreno, when you should be looking at the dumpster fire that is the Bronco defense. Seriously, how is that terrible unit going to even slow down the Seattle offense?

I'm guessing we have some fandom at work here, but what are you seeing with the SEA OFC that I don't see? They should've blown out NO in the 2nd game, but kicked FGs instead getting TDs...in the SF game...the OFC made one more play than SF did essentially.

This game comes down the DEN OL vs the SEA front 7...if Manning is getting hit enough to think about the rush, I can see the SEA back 4 getting a pick or two and SEA winning this game. If Manning is clean, the SEA back 4 won't matter nearly as much...DEN will win by 6+.

I can see Lynch having a 125 yd game and still losing...RW needs to be in the mid 200s via the air imo and at least 23 points.

And by all means think your D will stop Seattle from having 200 yards total on the ground. Even if by some miracle they do stop the run, that means they will have sold out to stop it and Wilson will have at least 300 through the air, see the first SEA vs NO game and how it worked out for them.

Some of it is homerism, but mostly it is just because the Denver defense is not good.

The weather was REALLY bad in the playoff game against NO and they would have blown them out, but with a 16 point lead, they went ultra conservative and didn't try to do much of anything, except when they had to and even that was conservative.

SF is also the 3rd ranked defense in the NFL and Seattle still scored 23 against them, DEN is 19th in defense, with a horrible secondary.

LOB will get at least one pick and force at least one fumble. If the front 4 get to Manning, this game will be really uneven, because then they will have multiple INTs.

If Lynch gets to 125, RW will have 200 as well, but that might be 50 rushing and 150 passing.

What you don't seem to realize is that Seattle's offense is actually a great matchup for Denver's defense. We're good at stopping the power running game, not so good against good passing teams. That doesn't mean Denver's going to win obviously, but I like the matchup against the Seahawks offense much better than I would a matchup against, say, New Orleans offense.

As for 200 yards rushing, I think that's pretty unlikely. Denver hasn't allowed any team to rush for 200 yards this season, and the Seahawks only went for 200 yards twice all year. Not saying it can't happen, but I don't think they have to have a "miracle" or "sell out" to keep Seattle under 200.

I will say this; if Wilson throws for 300, Seattle likely wins.

Ooh, I can do this too! Manning will throw for 4 touchdowns and 400 yards!

Keep thinking this offense can't throw, it just proves that you know nothing about this team. They didn't throw much because they didn't have to, not because they couldn't. With Tate, Baldwin, Kearse and now Harvin, good luck covering them all.

Don't forget that Wilson is an extreme threat to run in this game and that has not been a strength of your defense either.

But isn't that the defense that Seahawks fans use? That Denver can't run? And Bronco fans counter with, "Well with Manning at QB they didn't have to".

See what I'm getting at?

From what I saw of Russell Wilson, he's not going to win you the SB if you take away the run. He couldn't make the throws. It was your defense and run game that won it for you.

"Bold Predictions" you want? Here is mine. Russell Wilson throws for more yards than Peyton Manning and still doesn't win the MVP, Lynch does.

and yet in their various offensive categories ranked against the league they are very pedestrian
