Are we going to see anyone take responsibility for this team or on field product?

Will we keep Marvin around?
Dalton still not going to be put on the hot seat?
Or are we just going to blame it on having injuries (those things every other team has to deal with) and continue to accept mediocrity?

0-6 in the playoffs, and not only do we lose, but we have looked out manned and outschemed for at least 5 of those years. I would leave out the Carson injury year. I think that was our best bet.

There will be zero accountability. There never is. This is a loser franchise. Always has been. They will make excuses like losers do.

The Bengals are content with where they are at. What's even sadder is the large majority of the fanbase is as well.

Mike Brown loves Marvin.

Marvin loves Dalton.

I think that pretty much covers it.

It needs to be blown up.

It won't be.

Really he was their 4th. Logan Thomas was their 3rd string guy all through camp and the beginning of the year.

They should all get a room and circle jerk each other. Sense they all love each other so much.

Not that it really needs to be pointed out, but Bruce Arians puts Marvin Lewis to shame.

Also, Todd Bowles is twice the DC as Pauly G.

Team blows in general.

However, every team has to deal with injuries, but when you are a just above average team to begin with, you can't have that many injuries and expect to win in the playoffs.

No Maualuga, or Burfict at LB.

Our defensive line is the worst in football.

Offensive weapons....no Eifert, Gresham, Green, Jones, Sanzenbacher,

We were missing our top 4 offensive passing weapons. Dalton was put behind the 8-ball before this game even started.

Stack 8 in the box, and make the most worthless WR's in the NFL beat your man coverage. Was not goign to happen. Sanu was the only receiving weapon on the field today outside the RB position, and they took him away easily enough, because he is not a true #1.

We can't run, so you score, make our offense one dimensional, which is pass heavy, and with no one to throw the ball to, and the inability to run, we stood no chance what so ever.

Our secondary had to cover on some plays for 7 to 8 seconds, or more. I don't care how good your DB's are, no DB is going to be able to cover that long.

This team blows, and a lot of teams can over come injuries, we are not one of those teams because we do not have the depth to account for that kind of loss. Our defensive line and lack of LB depth this year killed our defense. Offensively, we couldn't keep enough weapons healthy long enough to threaten anyone.

Jones didn't play a snap, and Eifert played one drive this season, its not like they were recent losses, the coaches had all season to adapt to their losses.
And please, Sanzenbacher can hardly be called a weapon.

Remember when somebody on here said it was ridiculous to let MJ, Collins and Hawk go when you had the salary cap room to sign all three? Dude was called a bitch..... Now we don't have depth, playmakers or a pass rush and it's a problem?

Every game we lost was by double digits, and we were way overmatched in all of them (except last week @ Pitt). if you think we'd of won any of those games with any or all of those guys, you're crazy

It's not those players specifically. It's the mentality. We have the cash to spend on depth. We don't spend it. We lose because we didn't have depth.

Maybe they'll pick up Johnson and Collins after they get cut in Tampa and they'll pretend they re-signed them and this year didn't happen

most QBs see a man open and throw
Dalton throws and hopes he gets open
most of our deep reception to green were a result of green just out battling for the ball
our receivers are slow
bernard is slow
secondary is slow
our pass rush is weak
Hue is bad
Marvin is bad
....so just a tweak here and there and we're fine

what I'm not going to do is blame green.

Dalton needs to go. If there's someone that is actually an upgrade over Marvin, then sure. As of right now, I'm not sure who that is. That's the part that most people don't consider when they scream "fire so and so". I just don't know who in the hell is out there that is scalar and would come to the Bengals.

They had better hope that guys get healthy and that Marvin Jones is as good as they think he is because next year is going to be more of the same if they don't improve the receiving core. There was nobody getting open yesterday and I'm actually surprised it wasn't worse.
