Can’t say I have ever heard that one before…
”Per individuals with no familiarity of the situation, …”
Though that phrase probably SHOULD be used more often than it’s more popular counterpart is used.

ahh...let me pick a lawyerly nit here:Can’t say I have ever heard that one before…

I just found it humorous. Normally a report will cite “an insider with knowledge of the situation”, yet here we see “agents who are not involved in the negotiations.”ahh...let me pick a lawyerly nit here:
"no familiarity" doesn't equal "not involved in the negotiations."
Other agents may be very familiar with the process if not the particular moves being made. Not useless to get their take, IMO.
This seems to suggest the decision may not be that soon.
My buddy here in NC owes me a round of golf at the swank club he belongs to if the Giants sign Judge. This seems to suggest the decision may not be that soon.
Latest On Aaron Judge
7:32PM: Yankees GM Brian Cashman spoke with reporters (including Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News and MLB.com's Mark …www.mlbtraderumors.com
Cashman was unsure if Judge would let them counter offer. Judge may soon be a Giant.Reports are the Yanks offered 9/340 and the Giants 9/360.
I'd bet that even if it was the other way around, he would still sign here.Reports are the Yanks offered 9/340 and the Giants 9/360.
I do expect the final numbers to be higher. The Yankees may hear about that and make a counter offer. The Giants then come in with a higher number and he signs with us.$40mm AAV would be $5mm less than I expected. That's a solid bullpen arm right there.
Heyman just said Judge is a SF Giant!!
Now....BRING ME CORREA.
