I'm a broken record about the whole topic...so I will spare the choir preaching.I feel better when he has a 3 run lead but i felt the same about Joe Nathan

BAN THIS MAN!I'm just hoping they don't get swept in Chicago. At least Sale is out of the equation.
I think our pitching staff will help to even out some of the rough spots along the way.
Griffin has pitched well, so I would feel bad to drop him cause Yu is healthy. But that might not last much longer.Hopefully getting Yu back in 3-4 weeks will only benefit them as well
How many athletes like to have surgery at the first sign of trouble? Been that way forever...they delay until they have no choice. If Kela had this bone spur problem last season then why wasn't it taken care of last October?

At least Dyson is available. I would rather see Klein than Willie boy if it comes to that.
What if he is outpitching Colby when it comes time to drop someone from the rotation? Was actually thinking about this earlier this evening. Gonna be tough to drop him once Yu is ready. Hopefully he'll accept an assignment to RR and be ready for when we need him, because we will need him.
I hope we don't all expect Yu to come out and have QS in every game he starts after he's back. He's a great pitcher but even when he's 100% healthy and on top of his game, he still has the potential to have a few bad outings. I almost expect him to be around .500 in his starts with an ERA just above 4.00 probably
I don't expect him to be what he was prior to getting hurt, but I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up a little better ERA than you are expecting.I hope we don't all expect Yu to come out and have QS in every game he starts after he's back. I was thinking about that myself. Of course it is very rare as we all should know for your starting 5 to stay healthy the entire season. So it is good to know he is available. And what do you do if he happens to be out pitching a couple of your starters. Was actually thinking about this earlier this evening. Gonna be tough to drop him once Yu is ready. What drives me crazy about Yu is his pitch count. Goes deep into the count with the majority of hitters.I don't expect that at all. He was never that kind of pitcher before surgery.
I am working on trying to do that myself.Absolutely possible, I'm just tempering my expectations

Current starters
Hamels - 3-0 2.52 ERA Avg against - .227
Holland - 2-0 2.72 ERA Avg Against - .203
Griffin - 2-0 3.18 ERA Avg Against - .203
Perez - 0-1 3.44 ERA Avg Against - .246
Lewis - 1-0 4.00 ERA Avg Against - .286
How is that for ERA of our starting 5.
That would be nice for a change.I almost don't want to change anything at the moment and it may be a moot point by the time Yu gets back anyway. Griffin, NMart and Chi Chi will probably be the odd men out unless lots things happen. Guess Nick is still up as the long man out of the BP, but Chi Chi may have plenty of chances to work on things at RR this year
