Too early to judge.

Always thought that TCU, though well coached, benefited by not playing in a conference where every week you get beat up. When you play in a conf and only have one or two games that have close to equal talent, then you will suffer going to one of the big conferences.

Had this argument with my nephew, a TCU grad, over and over. He never listened. When your players get beat on week after week, when even the bad teams in the conference have some guys that can hurt you, it will take its toll.

But they will adjust and be fine. They just wont win 10 games a year every year in the Big12.

TCU and WVU come to the Big 12, and they get worse. Hmmm...

Also, TCU has been without its qb last 2 years now and has had some bad breaks. WVU is in a rebuilding year, but they did underperform last year.

I'm gonna tell you what everyone else in the Big 12 has known for years now: It's hard to win in this conference.

Not sure what you consider a "bust". I can pretty much guarantee you WVU AND TCU and maybe even Kansas would throttle Colorado wherever they chose to play them.

the reason why i call tcu/wvu busts & not cu/utah was because the b12 moves were all based on football and not about markets/academics etc.

so when they tank in football then you gotta start looking at these moves as a failure

Can't speak for WVU, b/c I know nothing about their situation. Baylor had more political clout than TCU did when the Big 12 was formed, plain and simple. Had nothing to do with the school itself.
