It may have been in Shanny's separation agreement but it wasn't in everyone's. A lot of folks have left, mostly on bad terms. Think Morroco Brown would hesitate to reveal this confidentially if it were true? He has every reason to be bitter. Or someone on his staff? Or Kyle, that "Idiot" who is killing it in Cleveland?

Oh, I'm sure it is in everyone's separation agreement. That's pretty standard in all industries, not just the NFL. As long as they are receiving severance pay of some type, they have motivation to keep quiet. But the story will come out eventually. In fact, probably multiple versions. Then we can debate which one we believe.

As far as Kyle, how about that guy. I'm happy for him. I thought he was pretty good, just got caught up in the turmoil last year.

Let's believe the most outlandish one. That's what we do om message boards. Sex, scandal and maybe a clown's suit with blood stains will all be a part of it.

Now that's going a bit too far. This isn't Jerrah Jones Cowboys, after all. In fact, every thing you mentioned, sans the clown suit (at least not that we know of), has happened with Jerrah and the Boys.

There is no doubt in my mind that there is a blood stained clown suit in Jerry's past.

well we have CSI'd everyone else in the organization so lets go back to snyder eh ?

in the last few years he has backed away from decisions

he gave shanny TOTAL CONTROL of football operations it was in his contract

shanny is solely responsible for his staff , his draft picks and the players he has acquired

so far , it appears he has let gruden and allen run the team

sure gruden could get fired , sure allen could get fired , but i believe they are being allowed to do their jobs so far

now if you can show me some evidence that he is micro managing gruden , i am all ears

now early in his tenure up until about the gibbs hire i believe he meddled . he meddled with zorn too . i will give you that

Love the whole CSI thing, even though it does not apply in this instance. While there is very little doubt that Mr. Snyder has relinquished control first to MS then to BA, where is it untrue that both of these decisions. ...his decisions were forward thinking? Constructive? Logical?

MS prior to his hiring here was in fact in almost forced retirement......Nobody wanted him except our guy!
BA as GM defies logic as there is no historical nor contemporary evidence that supports this move. Sure keep him as your cap and contractual guy where he does good work, but let's not attempt to separate either of these guys from Snyder without whom neither would have been here or here in a capacity not suited to their strengths.

Hit the nail squarely on the head here. I have been giving Snyder props for years for actually stepping away. I was totally on board the Shanny hire and stuck with him to the bitter end when it was obvious he had to go. And the Allen hire was rock solid, had he remained in his role as the contract guy.

But the minute he made Bruce Allen in charge of personnel I cringed. His history shows he stinks at the draft. Now he is supposed to be able to dedicate himself totally to personnel while he is pulled in other directions such as putting out fires with the name controversy, making critical decisions such as unfirom color and naming games "Homecoming" etc and it's an idiotic structure.

So yeah, it's still on Snyder. It will always be on Snyder.

Here's the problem. No one worth their salt wants to work for Snyder in the FO. He is an ass and makes his employees lives miserable. So what we always end up with are either retreads looking for another shot or newbies who are unproven. The really great scouts would never come here to work. If we don't have good scouts, we don't have good drafts.

I don't know about that. Marty was an announcer and on the air he said he'd never work for the guy. A year later he is at Redskins Park. Bruce Allen was considered one of the top executives in the league and he has the hardware to go with it. Before coming to Ashburn Shanahan was a borderline Hall of Famer. Come to think of it who has Snyder targeted that he didn't get?

The problem is he hires them in the wrong roles. Giving total power to Shanahan was a mistake. And making Bruce Allen the GM was yet another mistake Failing to hire from within continues to be a mistake, the guy who put together the Seahawks was right here. Morocco Brown has a great reputation. Now he has the power to make the final decision and we all know what will become of that.

The treatment of Marty is one of the reasons why no one will come. Shanahan was a retread and out of football. He may have had a good run in Denver for a period (thanks, Elway), but ultimately got run out of town. The same with Bruce. He couldn't find a job as a GM......except here.

This time around, Snyder wanted J Gruden or Cower. It was reported that Cower told close associates that he would never work for Snyder.

So this time we go back to the Newbies trying to make a name for themselves. I'll say it again. No one worth their salt wants to work for Snyder. He gets the ones that are desperate. That sometimes works, but usually they are desperate because they have failed before and can't find work.
