I don't think anyone stated they thought he sucked at the draft just that he seem to draft poorly. He manages the draft well, but his evaluations especially at WR are questionable. As for RBs I think he drafts the type of RBs that we need pass catching RBs I don't think he sucks at RB drafts.
yea its his weakness for sure

BB avoids prima donnas and top end WRs are often prima donnas. I think the overlap with Michel and White is exactly why BB drafted him. It keeps resources fresh, payroll down, and a skillset intact when players leave.

Here's another question........................

Texans are looking to move WR Wil Fuller and JJ Watt.

Would you deal Stephon Gilmore straight up for both?

Fuller is 26 and his contract expires after this year.
Watt would cost about $8M for the rst of 2020 and $17.5M next year with the exact same cap hit.

I don't think so. I could be 125% wrong on this but it seems like JJ has lost a step or two.

I'll leave the personnel decisions to BB.

To evaluate these as draft results you need to assign the draft value used for each pick, and then add or subtract the value to which each measured up, As an example: Julian Edelman cost about 40 draft value points and returned around 1500. David Givens cost about the same and probably returned second round value and Deion Branch returned high first round value.

The haul on Edelman fixed all the 2nd and third round misses... all of them (and Bethel Johnson was serviceable). David Givens fixes all of the 5th and sixth, and seventh round misses. Picking up Wes Welker for a second way more than fixes everything else. Where does Trading a 5th for Randy Moss get added?

True dat! Wheels came off fast.
I prefer to look at our rolling average from the past 20 years. If we do that our rolling average for this year will be 11.7 wins.

It's absolutely ridicules that our no-name system QB (already forgot his name) averaged over 12 wins a year over 18 seasons.

"Doug – maybe not a question but observation you can comment on! Seattle game ended on one yard line, KC winnable but Hoyer sacked and strip sacked, Buffalo fumble on 15 yard line with 30 seconds left! A few plays and this season looks totally different going into this week.
Agreed. It’s been an unlucky offseason and season for the Patriots. They were due for one."

As Parcels once famously said "You are what your record says you are".

Welp, looks like a good idea the Patriots didn't try to get Fuller

HERE'S A NEW QUESTION>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

What would the Patriots record be after13 games if Tom Brady had stayed in New England??

Personally, I think that they would have beaten the Seahawks and the Bills. I aslo think Brady could have made the 49ers gam mush closer but I'm not sure they would have won The Cheifs only beat the patriots by 3 points and I think TB would have found a way to win that game and I think he would have beaten the Broncos. So my answer to the question is 9-3
