Why is it laughable to think that KC might get to the SB this year? I don't think that there is more than two or three other AFC teams that are currently more likely to get there. Pretty similar to where SF is at in the NFC, isn't it?

A better question is why this would be some sort of burn on me personally as the OP suggests. The OP seems intent on pretending that I have said anything about KC prior to this that puts them or Smith in a bad light. He is pretending that I have said all kinds of bad things about smith. Truth be told, I was not in favor of getting rid of him, and I have spoken favorably about KC's win streak. Just ask Seattle fan

But I like our haul we got in return, and now that the tough part of their schedule is upon them, I will bet my words ring true. KC will not be able to keep up with best teams. They couldn't keep up with Denver which was the first playoff caliber team they faced all season.

The niners current struggles and situation is irrelevant to this conversation. The OP named me specifically in his opening thread and suggested I would freak out or something if Smith won a super bowl. The truth is, I would be stoked for him if it was over anyone other than the Niners. If he beat the Seahawks in the super bowl I would ROFL! (But much like KC, I would bet money they don't make it either)

Its as laughable that I would be upset Alex Smith won a super bowl, as its that they would win one let alone make it to the super bowl this year. They aren't even going to win their division for christs sake. They haven't had a sack in two weeks, teams are scheming them well, and as we saw against an actual playoff team, the first they have played all year (and no philly wasn't a playoff team when they played them) If they fall behind, their offense will not be able to catch back up. Smith won't lose the game for them, but he won't win it either. And in the playoffs that won't fly.
