loved how Smith took them right down the field..."can't do late drives from behind"....think you really meant something completely different about from behind.

loved how KC lost..... Which is what I said, if KC falls behind they will eventually lose. They will only win a game in which their defense controls the tempo and game. If they HAVE to rely on Smith to carry the team, they won't win. Smith actually had a good game, but it wasn't enough when the defense wasn't handing the offense a W. It played out just as I said it would in that scenario, even with an above usual performance by Alex Smith.

good luck this season, 9ers are going the opposite direction, playoffs to gone, KC from gone to playoffs and Smith is the reason...it already can't be changed for both teams

Smith is not the reason you are winning, getting rid of a mistake and error prone QB and having a great defcense is why you WERE winning. Lately that defense doesn't look so scary, and once you needed Smith to carry the team, you lost.

IF Smith brought them back, they would have won right genius? Thats what bringing them back means. It doesn't mean temporarily getting a narrow lead again before losing. I never said Smith would be incapable of getting the lead again if they got down, I said if they had to rely on Smith to carry the team, they wouldn't win a lot. And they didn't. Point is, if the offense and Alex Smith has to carry the team, they will lose more often than not.

I also said that the losses would start to stack up when the chiefs started the second half of their schedule which became difficult for the first time this year. And sure enough.... they have started losing. I was always impressed with KC's win streak, but only because of their poor record last year and it was an amazing turnaround.

10-6 is a serious possibility for KC at this point. If you want to deflect by taking shots at the niners go ahead, it doesn't change that.
