Lebron is going back to #23
So how many of you burned his jersey? Come on, confess!

Good Find! Shame...Those jerseys could have been given to folks in need in Cleveland. Makes one laugh a little and see how things can change over the years.
We already knew it was bullshit when Lebron said he changed his number to 6 out of respect to Jordan to not wear 23.
All he had to say was, that its a new team and a fresh start so he wanted a new number. Nobody would have a problem with that. But no, he gives us that lame Jordan story.

He put a request into the league in March 2010 that he wanted to change to #6......way before he decided if he was leaving Cleveland or not.All he had to say was, that its a new team and a fresh start so he wanted a new number. Isn't that what Kobe fans did when he switched numbers?Good marketing though. Get everyone to spend $99 on a jersey, piss off the entire state of Ohio, get them to burn your jersey, and then when you make your miraculous "comeback", those same gullible fools will spend another $99.
And lebron gets a neat little percentage of every jersey sold!

Chicago already had MJ's number retired at the time. He wore 45 for the final 22 games of the season and playoffs. Then switched back to 23 for the following season.
A little different than Kobe's situation.
A smart business decision would have been to choose something different than #23. That way those who already have 23 would want to by the other number.
Regardless of what number he chose though, people would still find a reason to bitch and moan about it.
