Should we honestly trade Von Miller?

First off let me say I don’t want it to happen because I love Von but at this point he might be better off to us going somewhere for a couple of 1st rounders. I could see someone like the Eagles giving up 2 firsts and maybe we get some depth at OL or LB back in the trade.

it’s clear this team just isn’t gonna be competitive this year so is it better to get what we can now before we lose even more skill players in the offseason(Sanders, Wolfe, Harris, etc) or should we ride it out and continue to do what we’ve been doing for years now and hope next year is better?

I don’t like the firesale approach because the defense is clearly a good unit. Let’s get Lock in there and give him the second half of the season. Let him cut his teeth in a meaningless season that nobody expected much anyway, then let’s see if the team can develop a respectable offense to go with this defense next year.

Only reason I'm suggesting it as he has 2 years left on his deal and will be 32, after this season I can likely see Harris and Wolfe leaving perhaps Simmons meaning this Defense wont be the same. If we can get a return that softens that blow and maybe gives us players at positions we desperately need I think it could be worth it. As Denver fans we've been playing the wait till next year game ever since Manning retired and if we're in the same boat next year we may not get as much for him as if we traded him this year especially since he's having his worst statistical season in the league this year. People still see him as Elite but if he does little this year and then next year isn't much better they wont.

I wouldn’t trade him right now. But we need to decide this offseason if we gut this shit show or what! Pull a Dolphins and hold Trevor Lawrence for 2021 or what.. Gott see what Lock does first though.

Unless something major changes if we still suck in 2021 what'll be the response then? At least we kept Von Miller to see us having 6 losing seasons in a row? Denver has been fixing gaping wounds with band-aids for years, it might be to time to burn it down and offically start over instead of playing this cutesy "we know we're bad but we're afraid of the term rebuild so we're gonna pretend like we're competitive" game they've been doing for 4 plus years now.

I would say that’s one more game than you gave Vance Joseph. You quit on him before his first game. So I don’t think you should preach at anyone who’s a bit listed off right now.

Crash, I love you like a brother, but I'm going to take the other angle and say yes, if the deal brought two 1st round picks, we should absolutely CONSIDER a trade for Miller ...

It is not the actual passing game that bothers me so much about Flacco, it is how he conducted himself in this game, the lack of any pulse, leadership and, I throw this in too, mobility … and I'm bringing Flacco into this because this team is not going anywhere with Flacco at QB .. I assume Drew Lock will be given a shot, and Lock will not be expected to lead this team into playoff contention for another few years ..

Will Miller, at his salary and what he will cost to resign, at age 34 ( or whatever he will be when a new deal comes around ) -- would he, AT THAT POINT IN HIS CAREER, be that much better than an additional pass rusher/LB to compliment Chubb ??

This team needs help at major positions … Bolles, as a LT, is not going to cut it .. Leary, at this point in his career, is a liability .. what's going on at RT ?? .. Should we get a real center and move McGovern back to guard ??

We should honestly trade Joe Flacco to Arizona for Kyle Sloter.
