Weird to see Ohio St fans back Bama here when the reality is that if the committee truly went with "best teams" then it probably should have been Ohio St in the 4 spot.Lots of butthurt in this here thread.

I don't understand. Are you the NFL commissioner? and are you lost? there is an NFL page.I feel like it's the only way to go
I know they're in a good spot to make it right now but i think we can all agree that they aren't a good as the Texans or the Colts without Lawrence
I mean they lost to the Bengals backup QB at home. That's bad
I don't understand, thought you said FSU should be #4. ?Weird to see Ohio St fans back Bama here when the reality is that if the committee truly went with "best teams" then it probably should have been Ohio St in the 4 spot.

You don't think Ohio St is better than Bama? You're reality is fantasy.
I am not sure many people outside of Ohio or CFB partisans think Ohio St is better than Bama, tbh. They should be.

Ohio State lost to the #3 team (at the time).Weird to see Ohio St fans back Bama here when the reality is that if the committee truly went with "best teams" then it probably should have been Ohio St in the 4 spot.
I mean nearly every power and computer ranking has Ohio St higher than Bama.I am not sure many people outside of Ohio or CFB partisans think Ohio St is better than Bama, tbh.

That's kinda just the problem. Most people aren't buying what metrics are selling there. Maybe that's bias, but the current format sucks. We both agree on this.I mean nearly every power and computer ranking has Ohio St higher than Bama.
Look, I'm in the same boat as many out there with the annoying SEC bias and sick to death of bama. but based on what happened, I just objectively think they did what they needed to, to get in. Yes, I think OSU should have been in the conversation, but as they say, they needed some help. there are only 4 spots currently, and the credentials to get in are sky high. They should be.

Honestly, I think OSU could hang with anyone in the top 10. Which McCord was going to show up though. the mich. game was only a 6 point game, and you could say if not for McCord's 2 mistakes, OSU might have won. He was the weak link. in almost every position, I think we had equal or better talent. Except for QB. Everyone's suspicions were correct. It was McCord. we had every piece of the puzzle except QB. sucks. Such a disappointment of a year to have the talent of Harrison, and essentially let it go to waste. A lot was asked of McCord, but he took the position. Feel a little bad for him, but if you come to OSU, you know what you are getting into. he had big shoes to fill. He showed he had it in him to win the big game with ND, at night, fast last minute drive. but overall was just too shaky and inconsistent. Honestly, I think if the Game was in Columbus this year, they might have won. and I think the defense was much improved from the past two years. That's nice and all, but the computer isn't taking into account McCord's inconsistent QB play. Sluggish offensive starts, bad footwork at times, and missing open receivers/bad throws. The D is not dominant. We didn't blitz much. It was a contain the opposing offense to small plays.
It really annoys me when my wife says “Who does Ohio play today?”really, I didn't think the Ohio University Bobcats were that close to consideration.
Milroe is a playmaker, Michigan will have their hands full with that.I am not sure many people outside of Ohio or CFB partisans think Ohio St is better than Bama, tbh.
im not convinced milroe can make enough plays throwing the ball. sure he has had flashes here and there but hes 41st in passing yards and 25th in td passes. hes not exactly lighting it up.Milroe is a playmaker, Michigan will have their hands full with that.
As far as Ohio state or Alabama… Alabama won its conference and that matters to me. Ohio state can play with anyone but they don’t deserve a spot this year.
Those feet though….im not convinced milroe can make enough plays throwing the ball. sure he has had flashes here and there but hes 41st in passing yards and 25th in td passes. hes not exactly lighting it up.
