Should the Jags be automatically eliminated from playoff contention because Lawrence got hurt?

I feel like it's the only way to go

I know they're in a good spot to make it right now but i think we can all agree that they aren't a good as the Texans or the Colts without Lawrence

I mean they lost to the Bengals backup QB at home. That's bad

Is Lawrence out for the season? I thought it was a sprained ankle? If he is out for the season, I agree, the Jags ain't going anywhere near the playoffs this season.

Echoing what Belcher said above, if Lawrence is out for the season, then the NFL should not invite them to the playoffs.

if he plays he will be severely limited mobility wise.

Ehhhhh, let's hear him out, now. Lots of QB's have been lost for the season, it might really open up the playoffs to some more deserving teams
Exactly!! I mean the Steelers are one of the greatest franchises on NFL history with a great HC. Sure they lost to the Jags this year but that was early in the season so it really doesnt count plus it was with Lawrence who is out now

I think we can all agree if they played again today the Steelers would beat them

No one wants to see the Jags sneak in as the 7 seed only to lose by 40 to Baltimore

Let's be honest

We've decided that the Bills are the better team and will be advancing to the playoffs. - committee

In all reality Jacksonville should lose all their wins with him as qb because they wouldn't have won them otherwise.

Let's be frank. The AFCE is clearly the better division historically and is better at the top this year

The Jags couldn't hope to compete with the teams in the AFCE year in and year out

That's hard to argue against. I think that any team with that many Super Bowls should get an automatic playoff bid if they finish the regular season with a winning record. The Steelers could very easily finish the season bowl-eligible.

Plus look at how much better the AFCN is that the AFCS

It's just common sense really

I'd actually be OK of no one from the South got a bid. They haven't even made a SB in over a decade you know

Yeah, those teams have no name value, which would hurt the NFL's television partners too much if one of them were included in the dance.

Exactly the same thing……
:rolleyes2::tsk:
Actually your OU Cuckguys should have made it over Bama. Bama only beat GA because of a 4th down conversion and lost easily to TX. Not to mention they barely beat a shit team like Arkansas(who lost by 5 TDs to Auburn).

It is a shame that the recent Eagle superbowl win is invalidated. Wentz went down meaning they no longer qualify to be there.

I get why they were left out obviously but I found it more amusing that they were unanimously not even considered.

Just goes to show the absurdity of eye test
