Brown was released by the Patriots on March 1, 2005 for salary cap reasons, but he signed a new contract with them on May 23, 2005. He signed despite a better financial deal from the New Orleans Saints.[10] In the 2005 season, he recorded 39 receptions for 466 yards. That is complete fucking bullshit. Troy played out his contract and wasn't going to be resigned. He retired with Kraft and Belichick by his side.
And now he's a coach on the team.

Quoting from Wikipedia. I remembered it happening, but just looked there quickly and it seems to be documented.
I didn't attempt to make it seem anything. They cut him for cap reasons. He hit the open market. Almost 3 months later he resigned with the team. That's facts. There's no spin on that or anything.Being released and re-signed to avoid a cap hit, something in which the player agreed to do as do many players, is a far cry from the "left him high and dry claim" you were attempting to make. Troy, like Brady, was a team player and did what was best for the team. He coaches on the team for christssake.

Bill Belichick closing in on all-time NFL record for losses by a head coach
If the Patriots play for the last 11 games like they have for the first six, Bill Belichick may break a record he'd prefer not to own.www.nbcsports.com
That was impressive by Gibbs… Not an easy thing to do ..Meanwhile a great coach like Gibbs wins 3 titles with 3 different quarterbacks
He is a great DC coach, won a couple SB with Giants. He was a good HC with the Pats, but he did have a great supporting cast. There was a lot of chemistry between him and Brady, one of those duos that don’t come along too often.Belichick is a great DC, average to below avg coach and a lousy GM
IMO what is unacceptable is to have his kids and buddies doing things. Mayo should have been appointed DC some time ago.Like Bill, he idid what his did for his pocket
The higher one climbs the ladder, the more his ass shows.Belichick is a great DC, average to below avg coach and a lousy GM
Is that a quote from the dark ages, say century 11-12 something like that? The higher one climbs the ladder, the more his ass shows.
Other temporal direction. It was Futurama, Kim speaking of Zap Branigan. Is that a quote from the dark ages, say century 11-12 something like that?

Until 2025? No way, he should bow out after this year. Team needs new HC in 2024.Maybe but for me I give him another year
