This draft is considered better than last years in terms of forwards. There's 1 elite defenseman, Seth Jones who will go #1 overall depending on who has the pick. Forwards like Nathan MacKinnon, Jonathan Drouin, Valeri Nicushkin, Aleksander Barkov, Hunter Shinkaruk & a Swedish kid named Lindholm are very highly thought of.

I don't think the team will trade him unless he went to them & said I want out. Wang is trying to sell the Islanders. Tavares is the one bright piece the team has going for it.
