Should Christian Yelich be considered for NL VMP?

Not quite sure why somebody above is comparing Yelich to Stanton but Yelish is one letter off from rhyming with relish. That brings me back to picnic food. I prefer the original potato salad.

Otherwise, Yelich is easily my choice for VMP.

Hats off to his great season and balls-up game down the stretch when the chips were on the table. Anybody can hit .320 in May. Doing it in a pennant race is all the rage now.

Also worth noting Yelich's season is up there with Stanton's best OPS+ wise (158 for Yelich, Stanton had a 169 OPS+ last year and 164 in 2014) and would be the 2nd best WAR of Stanton's career.
