Actually, Hitler had quite a bit of admiration for the Arab world based on that one thing, but also due to their strict adherence to their beliefs, something he wished to impose on his own subjects.

Parts of downtown Halifax under lockdown as police search for an armed man...

Several buildings in Halifax are in lockdown as police continue to respond to an unconfirmed report of a gunman near Brunswick and Duke streets in the downtown area.

"At this point we are trying to confirm the sighting and locate the man. There has been no threats or reports of shots fired," the police force tweeted.

Police received a call about a white man wearing black cargo pants and an ear piece, concealing what was reported to be a rifle wrapped in black cloth at 8:36 a.m.

"The individual was not seen entering any buildings. He was seen on foot. At this point we're still trying to determine if this report was actually a report of a rifle and locate the individual," said police spokesman Const. Pierre Bourdages.
