yes yes yes, the nfl thinks ratings depend on every team having piss poor defense.

defensive holding and illegal contact are so subjective its ridiculous, both can be called on literally every play if the ref's want to call them.

let them contact all they want until the ball is thrown. once its thrown hands off, thats how the rules used to be.
