I don't think there is anything sad about it. He made millions of dollars and he's a cheater. He did it to himself and got what he deserves.

He had his 2nd chance to prove he could play without steroids and he failed.

Is it sad he burned out? Yeah. But he was clean for the majority of his time in SD and he still dominated for a good amount of time. He was a 2x pro bowler and 2x all pro with OUT the juice.

I honestly believe if he wouldn't have used roids he'd still be here because of the devastating effects it can have in a short amount of time if you don't KEEP using them.
