According to Finnish sports weekly @Veikkajaa and @vrantanen Teemu Selanne has decided to play one more year. Sounds good to me

I believe this was decided once Saku Koivu re-upped with the Ducks. Damn Selanne, just retire like Lidstrom did.

Not to go off on a tangent, but it still seems so wrong to me that Teemu's 76 goal rookie season is credited to the Phoenix Coyotes.

Call me a traditionalist, but a team should create its own history in a city from day one, not inherit records from where the team formerly played.

Phoenix had a Dale Hawerchuk night a couple of seasons ago, only problem is Ducky never played one minute in a Coyotes uniform. He looked uncomfortable during the entire ceremony.

He did get to be a part of the Phoenix marketing campaign before Paddock traded him.
