I've done all that get the sec network crap, suggested a channel, etc. I figure they have to do it, but if they don't then they can kiss me goodbye, I'll pay $20 for internet and that will be it.

Well unfortunately you started with lowest common denominator then.

I have the B1G network, Longhorn network, Sooner Sports Network, all them. U-Verse, which is shit btw. They all come in nice packages so the trick is to get it carried by the provider. They are not exclusive select channels, they come in packages.

Don't watch them often though, I skim over just to see whats on and if something peaks my intrest like college baseball regionals etc, I'll watch. The 3rd tier football games are not worth it honestly. If you go after these networks its for the baseball and basketball coverage. The SEC network could thrive in baseball season. It's hockey for you B1Gs. Either way, arguing over who will take off better or not is just pissing contests. I enjoy them for a varity of reasons because I choose to buy the all sports package with whatever provider I get.

THIS RIGHT HERE ^^^^^ The main reason I want to watch the LHN b/c I get to watch more baseball games than I ever have. I also get to check out basketball, volleyball, golf and old football games.

I like watching the repeats and stuff. I get the big10 network now, and I watch the old games. Good background fodder while working.

Yeah, not sure I'd pay to get the 'Finebaum' show.

Basically, everyone has lambasted the LHN for the crummy current games they show, but that is because they are third tier games.

Looking at the SEC network, other than the opening game of a&m vs. South Carolina, the rest also look like third tier games.

Proves my point, most people don't realize that you are not getting the good games on these type of networks. You don't sign up for games, unless it's that one game that no one else will show, so it's your only chance of seeing it unless you actually go to the game.

What you are getting is all the other stuff, stuff that is of interest only to some. I love all the other stuff LHN show, like classic old games, etc.

I'd be willing to pay for the SEC network but Verizon doesn't carry it, at least yet. Verizon does carry CBSSN, which is not part of the package I have, but since Ohio State plays the 1st game of the season against Navy, I'll have to subscribe. Have no idea what it costs.

LOL at the schools that can't have one because their conference members are selfish pigs and when they figure out the income they are leaving on the table LOL at the nuclear reaction.

...Then leave the conference in a tiff!

The best things about these networks:

no more PPV for that one game no one wants to pay for, but the fan wants to see
all the classic, old games shown. Love that part of it. Again, only the fan wants to see
all the extra basketball, volleyball and baseball games that are shown.
all the money your institution takes into the school/program

I have it on good authority that Gump was a god damn genius, and the only reason he never went on to be a general in the army is because it was a waste of an enlisted man.

I'm going to petition the SEC to have this one count as another clear victory against Tennessee. I'm suggesting it replace the 1993 tie game...since this scene was filmed in '93.
