I read an article that ran the maths and came up with about $20 mil, doubling each schools take from about $21 mil to $41 mil in the first year. It can only go so far ... ESPN is only in 100 million homes. SECN will start with the same numbers as ESPNU.

I disagree it will have legs this is just the first year.

I would just like to thank the SEC network for allowing me to finally get the LHN. While the LHN is no big deal for some of you and made of fun of regularly. For us UT fans, it is great. And I can finally watch it this year. So thanks SEC, ESPN, and Disney for letting it piggyback on a provider that pretty much told me to fuck off for 2 years now.

It's different than the PAC 12 Network in that the SEC Network is also in HD and has an Overflow channel in case a game is running late and they need to start another. BTN does that too.

The PAC 12 Network is only offered in analog and is just the one channel.

just started this week: when I've looked, it's just showing old pac games. They are on the HD section, but since are old films, the sides are blocked in with that blur function, as a background or whatever they use it for on the old stuff shown on HD channels.
