Seattle would be good but they can't win on the road

You have to admit, that was as deflating a loss as you're going to see. If Houston closes that game out, I have a hard time believing the rest of their season plays out the way it has.

On the flip side, the Texans did the exact opposite to San Diego. They have had one big comeback win and one big comeback loss.

Not trying to be an asshole or anything but the one road game Seattle had against a team over .500 they did lose as the other 3 road wins came against losing teams
Wasn't that long ago that they wouldn't have won many (any) of those sub .500 games. You have to understand they are excited over the progress and who wouldn't be?
You hawk fans have become the queen of excuses....:L
So he forgives a loss and that becomes an excuse to you?

You are fast becoming the breaker of the north. So far I haven't seen a relevant or valid post from you. We get why breaker is so obsessed with all things Seattle, but a colts fan?

Luck played a hell of a game against Seattle and Wilson didn't do quite as well. This is true. To say anyone pointing out why is making an excuse shows your lack of football knowledge. Injuries are a part of the story of almost every team at some point every season. Seattle has been pretty fortunate that they haven't had a lot of season ending injuries, but unfortunate to lose 4 guys from the blocking game (including their TE) and it had a significant impact on their offense over the last 3 games. That isn't an excuse, it's a reality. Their offense was doing a lot better to start the year with a healthy line. Go figure.

Seahawk fans have to be the most fickle fanbase in the NFL. They try so damn hard.... its kind of cute.

This new thing they do where they post some over glorifying post about the hawks then complain when people question it on the General board... is pure comedy.

You know, you guys can have free for all circle jerks on your team board right? No one will bother you.

The whole "win on the road" thing was overblown. It wasn't that we stunk on the road. It was that we basically stunk and needed a huge HFA to win games. Now that we have some talent on the roster we're winning on the road. I think that has a little bit more to do with the turnaround vs. our guys finally figuring how to handle jet lag.

You are literally on these boards 24 hours a day and you are commenting on other people trying too hard? You would kill it if they ever started an annual troll awards ceremony.

What I want to know is, where are all these team that have been so much more superior than Seattle on the road....

GB over Baltimore? Ok, but GB also lost to SF and Cincy on the road.

Other than that..... Miami over Indy? Denver over Dallas?

Come on, by the way some are talking, there must be at least 5-6 "elite road teams" out there beating SB contenders on the road unlike Seattle.

I think more people on here are just so surprised at Seahawks fans puffing out their chests for beating a bad team on the road. I understand road wins are never easy but you don't see any of the other contending teams fans doing the same thing

Again, those who are puffing out their chests are excited over something they have never had before. Even when Seattle went to the SB it was sort of a late season surge and some good breaks in the playoffs. They have never been 6-1 in franchise history and never had at least a share of the conference lead at nearly the half way mark.

I'm not sure why it should surprise anyone that some of our base would be more hyped than fans of teams who have been there and done that many times before. I mean really, what do you expect?

Those of us not banging drums simply realize leading anything now doesn't mean shit and in a long season anything can happen. A few key injuries and suddenly we lose 2-3 games and it is a very different season. They don't give awards for who reaches 6 or 7 wins first.

Still those who are excited and happy over it, why not let them have their moment. It could very well end soon enough anyway.

New Orleans did beat Chicago also. But as someone said you're missing the point. Seattle is the only good team bragging about winning games on the road. You're a good team so you're supposed to win on the road

But they follow a team that has never been this good. Why do you (or anyone else) expect them to act like they have been there before if they haven't? :L

I don't mind the celebrating a win. In the nfl they can be hard to get for sure. It is the every week every other thread being about the Seahawks or even the ones that are not somehow turning into Seahawks threads. We get it you are proud of your team. It has just reached an over the top level that no other fan on here seems to like to talk football with Seahawks fans

Fair enough. But I see more dismissal than "they're a good team, they're supposed to win games".

6-2 in their last 8 road games.

I guess the only leg so many haters had to stand on is gone. What's next? Gonna break out the "How many rings you got" argument that the 9ers trolls love to use?

I don't think there's hate for the Seahawks team only their scumball coach, Pete Carroll.

What makes Pete Carroll a scumbag? He seems like a good guy that treats his players well from my perspective..

The guy's underhandedness at USC caused the school sanctions and lose of scholarships. When time for him to take his medicine he left the university for pro ball leaving the team and new USC coach to take the brunt of the sanctions.

Personally I would take the 2005 Seahawks over this team.

Either way.... whether its new to you or not... no one is impressed with beating three teams on the road all with losing records. Its not impressive. Although as sad as it is.... it seems to be an improvement over last year. So if its new to you all, then celebrate it within the confines of your team board, otherwise your excitement of beating losing teams is going to draw ridicule. Its pretty simple.

He left USC as the most punishes team in NCAA history for cheating and once he arrived in Seattle he turned the seahawks into the most suspended team for PED's since his arrival.

= scumbag.

My only question is who he paid more..... Reggie Bush at USC or Percy Harvin in Seattle. Thats a tough one, but I guess he probably paid Bush less than 64 million.

The USC sanctions and Carroll's involvement is such overblown BS. Drama queens cling to it....
