Yeah the three consecutive pick six's schaub threw before he played Seattle were all because he was so worried about the upcoming Seahawks game.

The niners are 1-2 against "bona fide" playoff teams. 1-1 at home, 0-1 on the road.
What does that tell you?
I thought this thread was about the Seahawks and Road games?
Now its about the 49ers and every playoff team we have played whether home or not?
But this thread was always about the 49ers wasn't it? Beating the cardinals on the road is an improvement for you over last year I guess.
You have to admit, that was as deflating a loss as you're going to see. If Houston closes that game out, I have a hard time believing the rest of their season plays out the way it has.

They weren't burning matt shaub jerseys in the parking lot because of that loss sonny, they were burning them because of four weeks of that... Pick six's... a trend that started before you played them and continued after you played them. You didn't do that. In fact, the reality is Houston kicked Seattles ass in that game, and then gifted it to you at the end.
Oh, I see.... The Seahawks losing to a playoff team on the road tells you what you need to know but the niners losing to a playoff team on the road and at home doesn't. OK
Yes, such an ass kicking they were up an entire 7 points and about to give the ball back (if there was no Sherman interception) to an offense that just had a 98 yard drive with 3 minutes and 2 TOs left.
I am arguing that from what I have seen Seattles road woe's are still a reality. A lucky break in houston, major struggling against Carolina, and Arizona who CLEARLY is not a playoff caliber team made a game of it. And the one actual playoff team you played on the road, Indy, beat you.
Thats not indicative of all your road issues going away... they haven't. Like I said, at least you aren't losing to clearly inferior teams, and I give credit for that. Winning on the road isn't easy no matter who you play. But if you are the supposed best team in the NFC you should be putting inferior teams down.... not struggling or needing miracle pick six's.
You were down by 14 in the 4th quarter. They had 465 yards of offense to your 250ish yards of offense. They basically kicked the living shit out of you for three quarters. Then they schaubed it. We all saw the game Sonny, you can't rewrite history as if none of us were there.
Like I said, at the end of the day you pulled it out and won. You deserve credit, its an improvement. I still think Seattle is over rated. Still a long way to go. And these victory lap threads you guys post are more than likely going to be as comical as your week 3 victory lap threads...
But glad the niners could beat up Arizona so badly you had a chance to beat them on the road. Thats how it works right?

A pick 6 is only worth 7 points with the extra point right?
Where did they get the other 16 points from since they were so thoroughly dominated and only won because of that one play?
You're just butthurt because you're not going to have any "victory lap" threads to make this year as far as the Hawks go. But you certainly tried the first couple weeks.![]()
I might do a small victory lamp for winning the division, maybe a slightly bigger one for a Conference Championship. Hopefully in the near future I will get the real victory lap of a super bowl win.
But Seattle fans do victory laps after home games against the niners in week two and or do victory laps after home games against the jaguars, and road win over the Cardinals.
Its pretty amusing. Everyone knows the Seahawks are a good team, albeit generally over rated, but watching you all try to convince yourselves just how amazingly good you are is pure entertainment. Keep it up!

Its almost like Hawk fans are arguing in favor of their road prowess to convince themselves.
I will say that unlike last year you aren't losing to inferior teams on the road... However the one bona fide playoff team you played on the road was a loss. That should tell you something.
Yeah, watching someone try and poke holes in a team that is undeniably better than theirs is mighty entertaining too.
You've got the criticism for Seattle down, what are your criticisms against SF? That they have "good opponents woes"?
Apparently you dont realize that critique and criticize are two different things...this IS a sports posting board after all...imagine the nerve of someone to critique your team if yours has a better record than theirs.
