Game day fellas! Time to quiet all the murmurings and simmer down all the chatter with a big W today. I think all the reports coming out this past week is a little bit over blown. Winning will cure all of that. Let's get back to playing championship football

Key Match Ups


1) Russell vs The Carolina Secondary
- The offenes has sputtered at times, but Russell has been super human despite the beat up offensive line. He has had a 99.9 qb rating or higher in 5 of the 6 games this year. He has a 63.9 % completion percentage or higher in every game but the Dallas game. He has career highs in QB rating, completion percentage and is on pace for a career high in passing yards and rushing yards.

The Carolina secondary has been vulnerable against the pass giving up an average 118.7 qb rating in their past 5 games and allowing their opponents to complete at least 70 % of their passes. The Seahawks opened up their offense last week and let Russell sling it when he had to. I expect more of the same this week as the Seahawks look to exploit that Carolina defense

2) Kam and KJ vs Greg Olsen
- Kelvin Benjamin has been the most talked about name, but Greg Olsen is the piece that makes this offense go. Kam finished last year playing the best football of his life. He was arguably our best player down the stretch (especially during the playoff run) KJ was excellent covering guys like Jimmy Graham last year, but have had their struggles in coverage this year. Kam just doesn't look 100 % healthy. He doesn't have that same burst and ferociousness on the field. KJ...he just hasn't been playing well. Time to step up

Greg Olsen is quietly having a Jimmy Graham like year. He's on pace for 94 catches 1124 yards and 11 tds. We can't let Olsen have another Antonio Gates like day on our secondary if we want to win today.


3) Bevell vs the SportsHoopla Board
- What kind of game plan will Bevell have in store for us today? How many pages in this game thread until Bevell gets trashed?

Well, I'd say our defense lucked out on that drive. Too many plays allowed, but holding Carolina to a FG is a good start.
