I mean, I don't care about the call at the plate right now, we just scored one fucking run off of who?

I was speaking as a general call, not as it cost us the game, if thats the way they are going to call it for all games, its just stupid

Holy shit go check the box score of the suspended Pirates and Reds game....10 homers have been hit in that game. How is that even possible? It's only 7-7 but 10 balls have reached the stands. It's only been 6 innings as well.

bc you know we aren't scoring any runs tomorrow night and not bc King Felix is pitching either

I know what you're getting at..... I've been saying it since the middle of last season. The rangers offense is non-existent with Yu on the mound. Regardless of who the other team is pitching, we usually get 0 runs. However, something's gotta give, because the other trend in play tomorrow is that we crush King Felix most of the time. Should be interesting...

Must be nice to have power hitters that can hit the ball out of the park.

Not signing Cruz was a good move. Too much $ for a streaky hitter and a below average outfielder. And with or without Cruz, this Ranger team wasn't going anywhere this year anyhow.

This team is plagued by 2 things: injuries and Dave Magadan. When you have such a weak and inept hitting team at a launching pad like RBIA you know you've got serious issues.

Team needs health, a new hitting coach, and Mitch Moreland to hit waivers.

maybe it's more than the manager, hitting coach and Mitch Moreland.

least 13 games in....seems like a group effort to me

Why not put one of your only players who is hitting in the lineup? :L

Obviously Wash and his plan of taking a guy out every other day is not working. If you get hits you play the next day. Seems simple to me. No matter what sport, and what level. If you do your job you play the next day.

I'm glad I'm being given free tickets because I wouldn't pay for anymore than I already have, until they decide to show up.

I just don't understand how people defend him.

I didn't realize how decimated the Rangers were until yesterday.

You get Beavan tonight, so it should be fun for you.

I don't really know who does anymore. They aren't responding to him anymore either. I'm not sure he does the one thing that's he was known for, and that's relating to them while getting them to relax and play. They're all trying to do to much, and making a ton of mistakes while doing it.

I do not know for sure if his agent didn't afford the Rangers an opportunity to match his contract offer by the O's but considering a QO was made, if the Rangers could have gotten him for 9 mill and passed that would be a balk. I know he wanted to play the OF, and could have in a rotation and DH'd and gotten AB's and would have definitely brought HR's and run production. I believe the FO was done after the Fielder and Choo moves and just allowed Cruz to sign elsewhere though i think he should have been brought back for production alone

I sort of just thought we were already at record payroll and at budget by the time it was all said and done with Cruz. And since the QO came before the acquisition of Choo, I had just assumed it was off the table at the point. Still have no real knowledge though... just speculation. I agree, if he went that cheap, going that much more over budget for him would still have been very reasonable. Then you could trade someone to lighten the hit, I suppose.

I was saying most of the same things this offseason. I am still a big fan of the guy, try to follow him when I get opportunities.
