You're probably right regarding the sound considering that the Kingdome was a dome and held like 15,000 more people.I guarantee 163 in 95 and Cortez’ one playoff game against Miami I think in 99 in the dome were more electric. When Cortez came out my ears essentially started bleeding. And every strikeout out after Sojo’s inside the park grand slam the park was on fire. But point taken and jealous you got to go. I got to go to 1 playoff game in 2001 and from what I hear your crowd was 1,000 times better than any 2001 crowd.
I wonder what it would take to get Ohtani. I think it would cost us Gilbert or Kirby, who I'd rather not depart from. Idk if this is a hot take but I think they both have ace-caliber talent and are cheap (for now).Blow the lid off and get Ohtani. You want to compete for championships, that's what you do.
Let it not mess on..Woulda been a whom sayer..
A soothsayer..
A doomslayer.....
Any but a betrayer....
Let us have a prayer..a
Beneddicktine...
Let it not be afflicktine..to congresion..
A blession
I would trade either of those with prospects for Ohtani. He is an ace starter and a large upgrade at the plate.I wonder what it would take to get Ohtani. I think it would cost us Gilbert or Kirby, who I'd rather not depart from. Idk if this is a hot take but I think they both have ace-caliber talent and are cheap (for now).
That may be true but..Ny is the place to be....So maybe there is a chance???
I won’t question at all that the dome IMO made it more electric. My personal opinion was those two were more electric. You're probably right regarding the sound considering that the Kingdome was a dome and held like 15,000 more people.
I was surprised honestly how many people stayed the entire game and remained engaged through the entire game. Not going to lie I really considered leaving - I pre-gamed pretty hard and I get really tired when sobering up since they stopped serving booze in the 7th - but the fact that the energy was still electric after 5 hours of scoreless baseball made me stay. I paid $320 or so for the ticket and another $100 or so on food and booze, and was wondering if I'd regret it, but despite the loss I'll always remember that game. My only regret is that I didn't get to the stadium earlier. I didn't get to my seat until like 10 minutes before first pitch.
Pitchers: I agree with YOU about Kirby and Gilbert.I wonder what it would take to get Ohtani. I think it would cost us Gilbert or Kirby, who I'd rather not depart from. Idk if this is a hot take but I think they both have ace-caliber talent and are cheap (for now).
