MLB Network's Morosi: Bats in free agency Mariners could target
MLB Network's Jon Morosi broke down a number of free-agent hitters to Wyman and Bob that fill different roles the Mariners could go after.sports.mynorthwest.com
Offseason has begun!!!!
Disagree with France. His big problem is his crowding the plate. It makes him a better hitter but have seen it two years in a row that he is an all star but after he gets hit in the wrist he is and average player. One thing for sure with him is when he comes back from a wrist or finger injury he can’t stay batting second.Agree with most of what you said. The third paragraph is spot on. Ive on from them all.
I can't get to the point of agreeing with you on Kelenic. He only has a higher ceiling because baseball people keep telling us he has a higher ceiling. That is the major flaw with prospects. We go by what others tell us because we can't watch them as closely as major leaguers. I don't want him penciled in at S.T. He comes in as a tryout player and earns it or moves down like any other prospect. Just my opinion.
Fat France needs to lose 15 lbs. I think he wears down at the end of the season.
No more Frazier. We can and must do better there.
Yes, yes, yes for better outfielders.
Good hearing from you again. Ho Philly!
I don't buy the wrist crap. When he had small hit streaks the wrist was never mentioned. When he chased balls in the dirt it was a wrist injury excuse...2 years in a row. Nope. You get tired, lose your legs, bat speed slows down and now you guess. He looks like he is guessing.Disagree with France. His big problem is his crowding the plate. I just don’t see it that way. You just have to a look at his numbers the past two pre and post wrist injury. For sure gassing might have an issue but it isn’t like his role on the team leads for someone to gas outI don't buy the wrist crap. When he had small hit streaks the wrist was never mentioned. what dates are his pre and post wrist injury dates? My point is when he hits it is never mentioned but when he doesn't they use that excuse. I don't buy it. Fat bodies wear down in the late summer. I guess we will see this next year what happens. I just don't buy it.I just don’t see it that way. You just have to a look at his numbers the past two pre and post wrist injury. As probably the biggest Ty France supporter on this forum, I agree 100%. When he's healthy I think he has a ceiling of a .320 hitter, but whenever he gets hurt he gets rushed back and plays like shit.Disagree with France. His big problem is his crowding the plate.
