He can grow it 1/2 way down his back for all I care ... as long as he can keep it out of his eyes when he is playing 3rd or in the batters box.

Our club needs Suarez to match last years defensive matrix's and put up similar offensive numbers He should have slightly better hitters both in front of him and behind him, which should result in pitchers not pitching around him so much.

Should be penciled into our 4 hole position and stay there the entire season. Our line up needs stability. Skips formula of shuffling it up like a Vegas single deck black jack game is ridiculous. MLB players need a bit of stability on where they play in the field and where they hit in the line up.

They have a host of other things to be concerned about that are out of their direct control. Stability leads to better production from your ball player I truly believe.

No that is not his job. His job is to present a analytical reason to why they should pay a guy X and not Y that the player wants. Saying he is the cause of their failures ( a teams failures) is just bad business and shows he is a man of no person skills. Sorry I am tired. It has been a bitch week, but my point is in there somewhere. Wrong method and unnecessary behavior. It will bite him some day.

I think his whole thing is simply pitch recognition and pitch selection.

You could tell countless times watching his half hearted lethargic swings ( weak hacks ) that he was completely fooled by the pitch and his timing was all off. The talent and hand eye co-ordination is there. He simply needs to identify the pitch and put a good swing on it.

I think it's a coin flip whether he is an asset to the ballclub moving forward. If he doesn't put it all together by the end of May, I hope they just move on from him and maybe he figures things out elsewhere.

If he does figure things out by the start of the season, he can be a bit of a difference maker if we could jam a lefty hitter somewhere in our top 4.

Top part of our order is predominant righty hitters and the bottom part leftys ( need a better balance or relief pitchers can dominate us )

All I was saying is we won’t know until the regular season but I will put up a decent size bet that he will have another good spring. Just like when he comes down to Tacoma he looks like he could be a HOFer.

I am not questioning your assessment on his potential regression. I was just mentioning his trade worth is way more than that proposed trade. They want a ton and they should. Is he worth more to us? Not sure, but I have no issue dealing any and all the names mentioned by any of us. Of course I will beat my dead horse dream of getting Garcia from Texas...lol.

Looking back at some old posts and I have to end my three obsession with Garcia to Seattle. He is way too good to play for us.
