Great to win, but man does the D look just plain bad.

With the switch from the hybrid 4-3 to the hybrid 3-4, I'm not clear if it is a scheme or personal problem (or both) but I do know it is some very poor tackling.

I think one of the issues is it's harder to defend the run when you're an edge rusher standing up outside the tackle.

For example if you have a OLB lined up outside the right shoulder of the right tackle, you're going to take more of an outside approach getting around the right tackle and if they run the ball between the RT and RG, it's difficult to redirect yourself back to get to the runner. Playing in a 3-4 defense is much more complicated than in a 4-3, especially as an edge rusher (OLB).

I actually think the switch to a 3-4 has harmed us more in pass defense. You have to expect a lot out of your inside and outside linebackers in pass coverage. Normally the linebackers are tasked with defending TEs, and we've been absolutely shredded by TEs this season.

Here is the yardage the Seahawks have given up to TEs this year:

Week 1 Broncos: 7 receptions for 85 yards, 0 TDs
Week 2 @ 49ers: 1 reception for 38 yards, 1 TD
Week 3 Falcons: 6 receptions for 99 yards, 0 TDs
Week 4 @ Lions: 8 receptions for 178 yards, 2 TDs
Total: 23 receptions for 400 yards and 3 TDs.

100 yards per game to TEs isn't going to cut it.

I was actually just texting a friend that Russell Wilson is currently on pace to be sacked 51 times this year.

Most times he has been sacked in a season? 51, back in 2018.

Geno on pace for around 26 for the season. Guess our Rookie edge Oline is WAY better than Denver's line...

I think most of us knew that close to 50% of the Sacks on Wilson were his fault.

4 straight three and outs for Russell Wilson in the second half. Where have we seen that before?

Yes you heard me right lol. Imagine some of you thought resigning Dissly was a mistake. He leads the team in TD receptions. Will "TD" Dissly

I was very happy about them resigning him.
