The gguy is ready to go right now. He is accountable , he knows he is a part of the defense that is getting shredded. His interview after the game and then the one yesterday were awesome. Definitely a leader.

Sean Lee could play for any Dallas team ever.....and I've seen um all
Just a football player from the word GO and perhaps the greatest student of the game that has ever wore the star

He is a no excuse guy. I love watching players interviews. You can tell their true self a lot of times. Hatch was pretty good as well. Lee will be ready to go Sunday. This last game wont be a hangover for him. He is obviously a very smart guy.

watching the game, I think Lee missed a few tackles and I think he could have done a better job in pass coverage on a few plays (who can't we say that about on this defense) unless he and the other LBs were told to go to a quicker, deeper drop, but I agree on the accountability. I almost started a thread contrasting Jerry's post game comments about "moral victories" and Sean Lee's comments about the defense playing horribly, letting down the offense and needing to play better. He just gets it. He is an absolute joy to watch both on the field and being interviewed. I said that I thought by the middle of next year he would be the best player on our defense, but I think he already is. He is a leader and he will be an All Pro this year and for many years to come. It's the NFL, so your QB is almost always your most important player, but Sean Lee is probably our second most important. Where would we be without this guy?

If you saw them it was like they were sprinting back to a position after they saw it wasnt going to be a run. This in turn left the short middle - where Moreno caught passes - wide open. Manning would hold them with the play action

If we had a team full of Lee's this defense would be harder to score on than any defense to ever touch a field.

Seen a thread saying the DBs looked good Sunday... I guess I watched a different game..... Our Dbs have looked like shit all year. A play here and there doesn't make up for their ineffectiveness the other 95% of the time.

getting DEEP drops isn't a bad plan against Manning. Problem was no pressure on the QB.

I definitely agree with this. I thought Scandrick played pretty good, Mo was average - which was an improvement, and Carr was a weak link

Safeties were poor IMO. I thought Scandrick played pretty well. I thought our CBs overall played a little better than normal for a team that gives up 400 yards passing,,,but I'm not sure that is a compliment!!!

One of the best LBs that we ever had at PSU. Fortunately for you guys he got hurt late in his college career and fell down the boards to you.

He's the only leader on the defense.

Like I said to everyone before the season started, the D-line is the weakest link on our team.

The lack of pressure by the D-line is making the secondary look bad IMO. You can't give any QB in this league 8 - 10 seconds and expect to secondary to hold up all the time.

We haven't had a dominating, bad-assed, disrupting D-lineman since Haley and Lett left.

But why would drop LBs if you are sending extra on a blitz vs Peyton Manning. Im specifically talking about the 3rd and 10 completion to Moreno.

I always believe in the Landry, Madden, Lombardi and Knoll approach. The TRENCHES is where the game is won and lost most of the time. I'd rather spend more money on the trenches and less on the super stars at the skill positions outside QB. There is a reason why the Steelers have the most super bowls. They refuse to spend tons of money on receivers. Probably why they always have a good defense and run the ball so effective most years with average players at the skilled positions. We used to be like that until Jerry decided he knew better than Landry and decided to go against Cowboy tradition and do it his own way. I said it before and I really hate to say it again, but this will be the last time cause I know some of you in here will get upset. We are a mess organizationally. Until jerry is gone we will never get a whiff of an NFC Championship game or Super Bowl.

In all fairness to Pday here, you kind of have to pick your poision here vs. Manning.

I finally found something we agree about! :suds:

I clearly remember Coach Jimmy Johnson saying, "Never ever use your money on star LBers. Use your money on DE's and OT's.
